SOYUZ BRAND PRESENTATION
The famous Russian Company “Rekord” Watch-Making Company” Ltd., SOYUZ brand owner and one of the leaders of the Russian watch market, has presented its brand at the International Watch Exhibition BASELWORLD 2006 upon the overwhelming success at the INHORGENTA 2006 Exhibition.
SOYUZ watches presentation has aroused huge interest among the exhibition visitors. SOYUZ stand was particularly frequented by the public and gained special popularity. Dealers from various countries grew interested in the splendid collection of complicated mechanical watches including tourbillion with the balance bridge in the form of a twin-head skeletonized eagle and with retrograde indicators of day and date.
Valery Pavlovich Polyakov, a well-known Russian actor who played a part of Joseph Stalin in a great many Russian movies presented the collection at the stand. The selection of this character was not a pure accident since it was Joseph Stalin who had ordered the design and development of watches under SOYUZ brand name at a secret armory near Moscow in 1940s.
The chance of having a photo taken for memory with charming Russian ladies, Miss Anna Starykh, Playmate of the year PLAYBOY Russian edition and Miss Anna Pishchulina, Miss XXL Russian edition came as a nice surprise especially for male visitors of the stand.
Rekord Company plans to take an active part in international watch exhibitions henceforth too. Summing up the results of its activities at the BASELWORLD 2006 Exhibition, Rekord Company may confidently state that SOYUZ brand has not only attracted world public attention but also has consolidated in the international watch market for a good long while.
